What we do
Through leadership that is grounded in real-time community organizing, young people at YUCA prove that youth are not just the promise of the future, but all the possibilities of the present. Whether we’re organizing marches, rallies, or demonstrations, we’re mobilizing East Palo Alto to take action.
Who we are
Youth United for Community Action is a grassroots, youth-led organization based in East Palo Alto, powered by young people of color from low-income communities. We create safe and affirming spaces for youth to build power, organize for social justice, and lead transformative change starting in the neighborhoods we call home.
What you can do
We want to work with you. Whether you join our organization, volunteer with us, or show up to an event, we would love to have you.
