Prop 6 Rally in San Jose

The week before the election was an emotional one, which was made evident by the number of people who came out to San Jose to march. Hundreds of people draped in "No on Prop 6" T-shirts and stickers chanting, "Prop 6...is gonna lock you up! Prop 6...is gonna take you down! Prop 6.... has got to go! Prop 6... So vote no Fa Sho!!" People from all over the bay area, young and old, came together to tell people that Prop 6 cannot be passed. In front of the Santa Clara County office buildiing, you heard stories of people for whom the fight against Prop 6 was personal. You heard stories of how it changed lives and how if action is not taken the same things will happen to everyone's family. As the march continued the stories continued as we stood outside of the Jailhouse in San Jose. We ended the event with one more uproar to show support for all of our family memebers who are in jai or prison.
